We use the Creative Curriculum. It is a teaching strategy that uses exploration and discovery as a way of learning. This curriculum focuses on meeting the specific needs of every child. Our teachers are hands-on and work to meet each child's specific needs. Children learn by doing and by discovering.
Rooms are set up for exploration and discovery. Teachers plan activities that let children handle materials and try things for themselves. With our programs and activities, your young ones will be able to enjoy and learn from this childcare experience. Together with our hands-on teachers, we foster creativity and individuality in each child. Children work in small groups and at their own pace.
Our teachers are licensed and certified in Early-Childhood Education. They have been fingerprinted and cleared to work with children in New York. Each staff member is required to undergo rigorous training through the Lil Inventors Teachers Academy. We have over 45 years of experience.
What you notice in practice
While children are enrolled at Lil Inventors Child Care, they will be immersed in a fun and educational environment to help enhance their development. Rooms are arranged so children can explore and discover on their own. The day is paced to give them time to play, learn, and rest.
How we work with families
At Lil Inventors Child Care, we value strong communication between parents, children, faculty, and staff. That is why we have an open door policy. Questions, concerns, or issues you bring up will be properly addressed. You can also ask about your child's day at pickup.
